Graphite Innovation and Technologies (GIT) is among 11 leading start-up companies globally who have recently been accepted into the ‘Paint the Future’ global start-up challenge. The challenge is facilitated by AkzoNobel, a leading global producer of marine coatings.
Canada’s Ocean Supercluster announced four projects today including the Smart Protective Coatings Project as a part of its core Technology Leadership stream of projects. With a total project value of more than $4.6 million, Canada’s Ocean Supercluster will provide $2.2 million in funding with the balance coming from industry partners. The Smart Protective Coatings Project is led by Dartmouth-based SME, Graphite Innovation and Technologies, together with partners Horizon Maritime Services Ltd, and Mitacs.
Graphite Innovation and Technologies (GIT) is happy to announce that it has been awarded a contract to work on a project valued at $2,400,000 by Transport Canada to investigate a new technology to help reduce the underwater noise and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) produced by marine vessels.
