GIT Recognized as Top 50 Clean Technology Company

Vancouver, Canada, November 23, 2021 – Graphite Innovation and Technologies (GIT) is among 50 leading Canadian clean technology startup companies selected as recipients at the Foresight50 awards ceremony.

Foresight (foresightcac.com) virtually introduced Canada’s most investable cleantech ventures – the Foresight 50 – on Tuesday evening.

The 50 companies come from across Canada and a variety of sectors including watertech, carbon solutions, hydrogen, and renewable energy.

An independent panel of judges selected the 50 companies based on criteria including investability, potential environmental and employment impact, and probability of success.

“As Canada’s largest cleantech accelerator, Foresight has supported more than 750 Canadian cleantech ventures,” says Jeanette Jackson, CEO of Foresight. “We know that Canada punches above our weight when it comes to climate technologies and that many of these ventures are connecting to global markets and investors to scale. But, these stories are not widely known. The Foresight 50 seeks to change that. I call on all investors to meet the Foresight 50 and lean in to support their growth!”

“Our team is excited to be recognized by Foresight and the Canadian clean technology sector for our innovation and determination to make maritime shipping more sustainable,” says Mo AlGermozi, CEO of GIT. “We know that we can help make shipping greener and the Foresight50 is going to be a big boost for promoting that.”
